Efecto de la inteligencia emocional del director, el clima laboral y la satisfacción laboral sobre el compromiso organizacional de los docentes en instituciones adventistas europeas

Resumen

Este estudio examinó cómo la inteligencia emocional del director influye en el clima laboral, la satisfacción laboral y el compromiso organizacional, considerando el papel mediador del clima y la satisfacción laboral. Ciento cuarenta y dos docentes de siete países de la División Intereuropea de los Adventistas del Séptimo Día fueron encuestados, utilizando cuestionarios estandarizados para medir la inteligencia emocional del director, el clima laboral, la satisfacción laboral y el compromiso organizacional. Los datos fueron analizados mediante análisis de rutas (path analysis) para evaluar los efectos directos e indirectos entre las variables. Los resultados indicaron que la inteligencia emocional del director influye positivamente sobre el clima laboral (β = .75) y, de manera indirecta, sobre el compromiso organizacional (β indirecto = .62) a través del clima laboral y la satisfacción laboral. El análisis de bondad de ajuste del modelo mostró un excelente ajuste a los datos, explicando el 61 % de la varianza del compromiso organizacional, proporcionando información valiosa sobre las interacciones en los entornos educativos adventistas, con implicaciones para la gestión educativa de tales contextos.
